Rich Landrum & "Above Average" Mike Sanders welcome up to the sold out Cox Arena and WCW Beach Blast! This is WCW Main Event and we're just an hour away from the biggest PPV in the history of the new WCW with nine big main-event caliber matches. We'll see WCW World Champion Sean O'Haire defending the title in a triple-threat main event against two former WCW Champions, "The Total Package" Lex Luger and 5-time WCW Champion Booker T. Plus, Hulk Hogan takes on "The Giant" Paul Wight and if Hogan loses, WCW Owner Eric Bischoff gets temporary custody of Hogan's son, Nick for 30 days. The Tag Team Titles are on the line as champions, Morrus & Abbott defend against the team of Eric Angle and Marty Jannetty. We have the semi-finals of the TV title Tournament and so much more.
We go to a video package highlighting all of the problems that have occured over the past few months with Luna Vachon & Sable and how Brock Lesnar & Gangrel have ended up being involved as well, leading to two big matches tonight.... The first ever "Diva Street Fight" with Sable versus Luna Vachon - and in a "First Blood Match", Brock Lesnar takes on Gangrel.
We go to ring announcer David Penzer for the first match here on the pre-show Main Event.
"PRIMETIME" ELIX SKIPPER w/ Jimmy Valiant versus KANYON w/ DDP
Fast paced action from start to finish as Skipper dominates the first part of the match with dropkicks and lots of high-impact shots.. Kanyon manages to hold on to the ropes and avoid a dropkick. Kanyon takes the advantage, but Skipper hits a jawbreaker to quickly end that and resume the lead. DDP catches the foot on Skipper as he rebounds off the ropes and stumbles him up. Kanyon takes advantage and scores with a "Kanyon-Cutter" to get the pin. Valiant comes around and nails DDP for his interference, but it's too late.
Winner: KANYON w/ DDP

We go backstage and Terri Runnels is standing by with one of the challengers for the WCW World Championship tonight, the "Total Package" Lex Luger. Lex is all smiles as he says it's his destiny, after hitting rock bottom, to come back to a fairy tale ending in his career - and that means becoming once more, the WCW World Champion. For a long time, he wasn't "The Total Package".. he was just a shell of himself and his life went into a spiral with several tragic events. But he's busted his tail to bring himself back and now, tonight, the fans of WCW and "The Total Package", and most importantly, Sean O'Haire will see Luger once take his spot at the top, as the WCW World Champion.
We see a video package highlighting the problems the have occurred between manager/rapper Soce the Elemental Wizard and his Elementalz, Hugh Morrus, Tank Abbott & Daniel Puder and former TV Champion Marty Jannetty, Eric Angle and former WCW Champion Goldberg.... leading to two big matches tonight as the WCW World Tag Team Champions, Morrus & Abbott defend the titles against Eric Angle & Marty Jannetty while in a MMA Match - with UFC Rules - "The MMA FIghting Machine" Daniel Puder takes on Goldberg.

We come back and Terri Runnels is with UFC President Dana White, along with UFC Representatives / Fighters Randy Coture, "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock & Dan "The Beast" Severn. White is here to be one of the judges for the MMA fight between Puder & Goldberg, along with Shamrock & Coture. Severn will serve as the referee. They talk briefly about the joint history of UFC & wrestling and how Puder is following in the footsteps of men like Shamrock & Severn and excelling at both. Goldberg has strong background as well and White feels this should be an excellent fight tonight. Terri has White explain the rules - three five minute rounds with three judges (White, Shamrock & Coture) at ringside if the match goes the time limit. Win by tap-out or your opponent being unable to continue. White plugs the UFC (on Spike TV) and Terri thanks them before sending it back to Penzer...
David Penzer introduces the next match on WCW Main Event...
ETHAN STORM versus "YOUR NEW ADDICTION" KRAZY K
Storm starts off by working on the leg of Krazy K in an attempt to ground the faster wrestler, but the momentum soon shifts as Kirby reverses a suplex attempt and scores with a dropkick to the jaw. Stinger-splash by Kirby and a small package to get the pin.
Winner: "YOUR NEW ADDICTION" KRAZY K
We go backstage and see Hulk Hogan with his son, Nick. Linda and Brooke Hogan are there as well and are very upset. Hogan is telling Nick that they don't need to have this match. Hulk will walk out right now and they can go home. He doesn't mind playing Bischoff's games, but Nick shouldn't be part of the equation. Linda says that tehy can catch a flight and be home in a few hours - and they should leave now! Nick says "No!"... He knows his dad and Hulk needs to prove to Bischoff and The Giant that they can't push him around. He's the strongest force in the Universe and this is the chance for Hulk to prove that he's the best ever. Nick isn't worried about being with Bischoff for 30 days because it won't happen. He's got faith in his dad! Hulk just sighs and hugs his son as a worried Linda & Brooke look on. Nick breaks up the hug, pulling away as a grinning Eric Bischoff enters the room.
Eric came by to wish Hulk good luck in the match tonight against The Giant. He reminds Brooke that she needs to go get ready to sing the National Anthem. Linda and Brooke get up to leave and Linda gets in Eric's face... if he tries any crazy stunts, Linda will... Eric cuts her off. Linda will do nothing. And neither will Hulk. Hulk agreed to this match already and so did Nick, on national TV. If they try to welch out now, Eric will sue them and take everything they have.... all those houses, that big TV deal on VH-1, Brooke's singing career, everythng .. will be gone! Besides, Linda doesn't have to worry. All Hogan has to do is defeat the Giant and Nick will be going home with them tonight. And if Giant wins.... Eric rubs Nick's head and says that he's always wanted a son..... Linda slaps Eric across the face. Eric gets upset, but then breaks into a huge smile. See you later... and good luck, Hogan... You're going to need it...

We come back and Bob Caudle is in the ring with WCW World Champion Sean O'Haire as well as the rest of the Horsemen, Charlie Haas, Tully Blancard, C.W. Anderson and Dawn Marie. O'Haire talks about his upcoming defense of the WCW World Championship against Luger & Booker. They've got him backed in a corner and the odds are against him, but he's all about overcoming the odds... he's the Champion and he's a Horsemen. And like him or hate him, he's the Champ and he's going to stay the champion and there isn't a thing Luger, Booker or anyone else can do about it.
Tully gets on the mic next. Last week, they left Scott Hall laid out in the parking lot. Nothing personal, but he made the mistake of getting involved in something that was none of his business and an example had to be made. Tonight, the Horsemen gets all sorts of payback as they take on Jeff Jarrett, Scott Steiner and Hall in the steel cage. Jarrett and his thugs think they got the Horsemen's number, but they don't. True, Jeff forced Arn to go back into retirement due to injuries, but that was dumb luck on Jarrett's part. Arn knew, when he climbed back into the ring, that he was taking a big risk and the slightest wrong move could end it all. And it happened. The odds caught up and Arn went down to injury. Jarrett just happened to be the one Arn was wrestling.. nothing more. Right place and right time and dumb luck have made Jarrett "the man". But what made his career can also end it because it turned him from a nuisance to a downright annoyance... and tonight, that all ends. Caudle asks Tully about the injury to Woman - is that also just a nuisance? Tully just smiles and says that he's spoken to Woman and hell hath no fury.. Tully stops.... let the lady tell you herself... Music hits and Woman comes down to the ring. She's looking stunning as she takes the mic. Jarrett made a big mistake messing with her. He thought she was just another broad.. well, she's no dumb chippie, she's Woman and if he thought Jarrett has problems with other women in the past, he hasn't seen anything yet. Her eyes flash as she says that there is nothing more dangerous as an angry Woman and Jarrett will rue the day he ever crossed her path. Woman hugs Tully, O'Haire, Haas, etc. as we go to commercial.

We come back and Landrum and Sanders talk about the next match - a "Four Corners" match at four of WCW's top teams compete to see who gets a title shot at the WCW World Tag Team Championship tomorrow night on WCW Monday Nitro.
Here comes Disco Inferno & Alex Wright to ringside. They take a seat next to Landrum and want to know why "The Boogie Knights" aren't part of this match? They're former tag team champions and should be wrestling for the titles. Sanders tells them that it's because "they suck"... Disco and Sanders exchange words as we go to Penzer for the introductions.
FOUR CORNERS MATCH - # 1 CONTENDERSHIP FOR THE WCW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
CHRIS CHETTI & SHAWN STASIAK w/ Christy Hemme versus ANTONIO & ROMEO - THE HEART THROBS versus ROB CONWAY & RENE DUPREE versus COLT CABANA & LODI
Sanders talks about how his sometime partner, Rob Conway and Rene Dupree have a long history together and should be the favorites. Disco calls Cabana and Lodi the "odd ball freaks"... Quick action that is pure chaos from the very beginning as referee Parker Paige has a had time controlling the action. In the end, Chetti manages to hit a "Buff Buster" on Antonio and get the pin for his team. Chetti and Stasiak are going to Nitro to fight the Tag Team Champs.
Winners: CHRIS CHETTI & SHAWN STASIAK w/ Christy Hemme - "HOT STUFF"

Landrum and Sanders make a final plug for the Beach Blast PPV and tell everyone to watch the PPV tonight. We hear a commotion at the back of the arena and the camera zooms in as Adam Copeland and Amy Dumas have entered the arena. "What the....?" exclaims Landrum. "What are they doing here? They don't work for WCW!" Dumas & Copeland come to two seats at ringside, holding tickets and smiling broadly and take a seat as we cut back to Landrum and Sanders...
Landrum & Sanders speculate why Copeland and Dumas are here and then send it over to the WCW PPV Announce Team, Tony Schiavone & Larry Zbyszko. Schiavone & Zbyszko banter back and forth with Sanders & Landrum for a few moments about the show and why Dumas & Copeland are at ringside. And we fade to black, as it's time for the PPV...
THE END!
