Civic Center
Disclaimer: It's not real except inside my head. Too bad because the ratings would be awesome....
Explosions and fireworks rock the sold out Charleston Civic Center as we come on the air. The crowd is loud and jacked up and ready for action.
We go to ringside where Tony Schiavone, Mark Madden & Dutch Mantell welcome us to WCW Monday Nitro. We're six days away from Spring Stampede and it's another big night for WCW. In the main event, we have a match between the WCW World Champion Harley Race and the Immortal Hulk Hogan. It's not for the title, but it's for revenge. Plus, it will be a big rematch from Slamboree as The Rock takes on Brock Lesnar in a match to determine who will go on to Spring Stampede to face the returning Bill Goldberg.
Music hits and we hear "Self-High-Five" as Diamond Dallas Page, Kanyon & Bam Bam Bigelow, collectively known as The Triad, come down to the ring. In just six days, the Triad will be taking on the WCW World Tag Team Champions, Tank Abbott & Hugh Morrus at Spring Stampede. So far, they've all been on the same page and working together. It's a shame that has to end, but The Triad wants the titles and will do whatever it takes to bring home the gold.
Here comes Brian Adams and Bryan Clark - KRONIK - out to the ring. To hell with the Triad. Kronik are the former champions and they have a rematch clause and they're using it. They want the tag champions in a title match tonight... The only reason they lost the belts in the first place was because of The Triad getting involved. So they have some payback coming their way as well.
Here comes Soce the Elemental Wizard, the manager of the World Tag Team Champions out from the back. He's got bad news for Kronik. They're not getting a rematch tonight. Morrus & Abbott have the night off. They're in the back taking it easy and gettig ready for the parties later tonight and Kronik just isn't high on their list of priorities. But Soce is sure that if Kronik and The Triad want to beat the hell out each other, no one would care.
More music hits and the new "Executive Director" for WCW, Cyrus comes out. He's been listening and he has an idea. Later tonight, it will be the team of Kronik versus The Triad in a tag team match. And the winning team will receive the title shot at Spring Stampede. Cryus then turns to Soce. And I've decided something else. Morrus and Abbott mave have the night off, or so you say.... but you don't. So the special guest referee for this match will be none other than Soce the Elemental Wizard. We see Soce's chin drop and he starts to argue with Cyrus, but the former Jackyl stops him with a hand on the shoulder. "And if you act biased in any manner towards either team and don't call it straight down the middle, you'll be suspended for 60 days!" Soce is speechless as Cyrus heads towards the back. The Triad & Kronik are glaring at each other in the ring until DDP and his guys roll to the floor as we cut to commercial...
(commercial)
We come back and see Soce in the back. He's clearly upset and pacing. Here is DDP, Kanyon and Bigelow. They tell Soce to calm down. They know he'll do the "right thing" and it will be the Triad facing the champs at Spring Stampede. Soce kind of mutters "yeah" as The Triad walks off..
We go to David Penzer who makes the introductions for the first match..
DISCO INFERNO versus LENNY LANE (with Lodi)
A suprisingly quick match as Lenny attacks Disco at the bell while Disco is arguing with a fan at ringside who told him his dancing sucks. Disco argues and shakes his booty and then WHAMMO - it's a still shot from behind by Lenny. Lenny pounds away at Disco, but sets too early for a backdrop and Disco scores with a neckbreaker. It's the "Broken Record" from out of nowhere and Disco scores a very quick three count for the win.
Winner: DISCO INFERNO
(commercial)
We come back and the ring is set up for an edition of "Blackjack's BBQ"... Legendary wrestler Blackjack Mulligan is in the ring and he's got a special guest. Making his WCW Debut is none other than "Your New Addiction" Krazy-K. Lights flash and we get lots of pyro and noise as Kirby Mack aka "Krazy K" comes to the ring. He introduces himself and gets right to the point. He's been all over the world and is one of the top Cruiserweights in the World. He's been the man in the AWA and in several Indy promotions, but now he's here to take on the biggest and the best. He wants to be the WCW Cruiserweight Champion.. and at Spring Stampede, it will be "Your New Addiction" Krazy K taking on the WCW Cruiserweight Champion, Jeff Hardy.
Here comes Jeff Hardy to the ring and after eyeing Kirby for a few seconds, we see th two men embrace in a hug. Jeff reveals that he's one of the wrestlers that helped Krazy K break into the business.. and he's looking forward to one crazy, high flying match at the PPV. Krazy responds that he owes Jeff & his brother Matt a lot, and the best way to say thanks is by being the best in the business. And if that means beating Jeff for the Cruiserweight title, so be it. Jeff says that he wouldn't have it any other way.
Music and lights hit and here comes Buff Bagwell. Buff wants to know what's next? "Are you two going to kiss now?" Hardy bows up a bit and BJM asks Buff what he wants. Buff just wanted to announce to the world that coming up, at Spring Stampede, it's going to be Buff Bagwell challenging Marty Jannetty for the WCW World TV Title. .Neither Hardy or Krazy K look impressed as Buff makes his announcement and begins to flex for the crowd. As Buff ignores the two men in the ring and poses to the crowd, we see Hardy & Krazy K exchange a look and do a double-dropkick to Bagwell that sends him sprawling to the floor. Buff is on his butt and incensed, pointing towards Hardy & Krazy K. Hardy and K open the ropes and invite Buff back into the ring but he wisely declines and works his way back up the ramp as Jeff Hardy & Krazy K celebrate to the delight of the capacity crowd.
Terri Runnels is with Colt Cabana, Mike Youngblood, Ethan Storm and Scoot Andrews. They're all jacked up and full of smiles. No one has seen or heard from Cactus Jack since they put the beatdown on him last week. We go to video and see a vicious four-on-one assasult by the guys on Cactus. We come back and Storm brings up the match at the PPV. It's Cactus Jack and a mystery partner versus all four of them. Jack isn't even there tonight and he won't be at the PPV. And even if he is, what can he do against all 4 of them? Nothing! Terri mentions that it's a hardcore match and Cactus is a "hardcore legend".. Youngblood yells at Terri that Jack is a washed up and beaten down old man. There are 4 of them - the future of WCW and professional wrestling. Cactus Jack can get anyone he wants and it won't make a bit of difference to them. Colt closes the interview by saying that Cactus Jack is a psycho and WCW is better off to be done with him. They are the stars of tomorrow for WCW. And no one is going to stand in their way. The four men walk off and head towards the ring as we cut to commercial..
(commercial)
A video promo airs - coming on May 24th - it's the return of WCW Clash of the Champions...
We come back and see a replay of Buff Bagwell being dropkcked to the floor by Krazy K & Jeff Hardy. Schiavone announces that next week on Nitro, it will be Buff Bagwell versus Jeff Hardy.
We go to David Penzer for the next match...
"WILDFIRE" TOMMY RICH & "DIRTY" DOUG GILBERT versus "COLT CABANA & "PHOENIX" MIKE YOUNGBLOOD (with Ethan Storm & "The Black Nature Boy" Scoot Andrews)
Rich and Gilbert start off in control of the situation as they work over Colt in the center of the ring. Colt manages to hot-shot Gilbert on the top rope and tag to Youngblood who opens up on both Rich & Gilbert with chops that echo throughout the arena. Rich ducks a clothesline and scores with the Thesz press on Youngblood, but Scoot Andrews reaches in and pulls him off by the foot before he can get the pin. Rich goes to the floor after Scoot and walks right into a brass-knucks shot by Ethan Storm. Rich is down. In the ring, Youngblood and Colt doubleteam Gilbert and toss him to the floor. As Scoot comes around to distract the referee, Storm, on the outside, rolls the semi-conscious body of Rich into the ring. Colt covers and the referee counts three.
Winners: COLT CABANA & MIKE YOUNGBLOOD (with Scoot Andrews & Ethan Storm)
As the match ends and we see the four men celebrate in the ring, we hear a voice on the Nitrotron and see the deranged face of Cactus Jack. He's got that mad look in his eyes as he addresses the four men in the ring. They think they're big. They think they're bad. He thinks they're stupid. They attacked him, but they didn't kill him. And at the PPV, it's a hardcore match. There might be four of them, but Cactus says the odds are in his favor. He has friends. Lots of friends.. Like "Barby" - Cactus holds up a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, "Mr. Socko" - Cactus holds up a sock with a face drawn on it, and a crazy-ass cowboy. We see Terry Funk step into the picture and place his arm around Cactus and smile. "See you boys at the PPV!"
We cut back to Colt, Youngblood, Storm and Scoot and see panicked looks on the faces of all four men as they look ready to wet themselves. They scatter and scamper out of the ring and to the back as we go to commercial.
(commercial)
We come back and Schiavoine confirms that it will be Terry Funk teaming with Cactus Jack in the Hardcore Handicap match at Spring Stampede against Mike Youngblood, Colt Cabana, Scoot Andrews & Ethan Storm. Plus, for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship, it will be Jeff Hardy defending the title against Krazy K.
We cut now to where Rich Landrum is standing by with the WCW World Champion, Harley Race. Harley has two things to address. First of all, at Spring Stampede, Harley will be defending the WCW World Championship. He doesn't know against who yet and doesn't care. Bischoff has promised a decision by the end of Nitro tonight, but whoever it is, Harley vows to keep his title by any means necessary. The second thing is Hulk Hogan. Last week, they were partners in a tag match. Hogan walked off and left Race alone in the ring. Race knew that Hogan was a "punk", but he didn't know he was a "gutless coward" too. Race says that Hogan will learn will learn what it means to cross Harley tonight. It's not for the title. It's for revenge.
We cut now to Soce the Elemental Wizard complaining to Rico. Soce's not a referee. He shouldn't be involved in this match. Kronik doesn't like him. If he screws up, the Triad will probably beat him up. He doesn't know what to do. Tank and Morrus walk up. They're stuffing their faces with sandwiches from the snack bar and want to know what they missed. Rico and Soce fill them in and Soce looks ready to cry. Abbott assures Soce that they have his back. Rico tells Soce to go talk to Cyrus. Since Bischoff isn't here tonight, Cyrus is the boss. He can be reasonable. "Just explain the situation and I'm sure that Cryus will change his mind about making you referee this match.", says Rico. "You think?", says Soce. Oh yeah! Rico encourages a hopeful Soce who goes off to find and talk to Cyrus. As Soce leaves, we see Rico mutter to Morrus and Abbott that Soce is "screwed!"
We cut to video from last week and see Sable get the win over Missy Hyatt. Ivory and Luna get involved and Ivory ends up falling victim to a double-team assault by Luna & Sable until Missy manages to run them off.
We go back down to David Penzer for the next match...
MISSY HYATT & IVORY versus SABLE & LUNA VACHON
Luna & Sable have seperate entrances and you can tell they're cleary not thrilled about being partners, but once the bell rings, they work quite well together. The advantage switches back and forth, but in the end, we see Luna & Ivory rolling around on the mat and the referee trying to break them up. On the outside, Sable sends Missy into the ringpost and then nails her with a wicked chairshot to the head. As Missy goes down, we see Sable roll into the ring and clip Ivory, who's about to DDT Luna, from behind and hit her with a quick Sable-bomb. Sable covers and the referee counts three.
Winners: LUNA VACHON & SABLE
As Luna and Sable celebrate their victory, we see Luna with a wicked look in her eyes as she suddenly chop-blocks Sable from behind and clips her leg out from under her. As Sable wriths around on the mat in pain, Luna goes outside and grabs a chair, crashing it hard down across the knee and leg of Sable. We see officials and referees come from the back to break up this attack as Luna continues to attack Sable's knee. Here comes Brock Lesnar towards the ring and Luna finally decides to flee as Brock tends to his injured lover. We see Luna smiling sadistically as Brock is cradling Sable in the ring and calling for a stretcher.
(commercial)
We come back and see Sable backstage being loaded into a stretcher. Brock is by her side and is wanting to go with her to the hospital, but Sable says no. He has a match later tonight against The Rock. Stay and do your match. I'll be OK. We see Brock kiss Sable as she's loaded into the ambulance.
We cut now to Rich Landrum who is standing by with Kevin Nash & Scott Hall. Last week, The Outsiders were up against the Horsemen and one thing led to another as a new Horseman got involved. Tonight, it's a six-man tag match with three of the Horsemen versus The Outsiders and their partner, the WCW TV Champion, Marty Jannetty. Hall remarks that it's almost like a Kilq reunion only it looks as if Shawn's forgot to dye his roots. Jannety talks about how he beat Arn Anderson last week and this week, he's ready to do it again. Nash gets all serious and says that if the Horsemen want to get serious, he's ready to get serious. And tonight, someone is getting hurt. Hall closes up the segment with a little survey. Are the fans here to see The Horsemen (loud mixture of cheers and boos) OR are they here to see The Kliq? (loud cheers).. Hall says, "One more for the good guys!"
(commercial)
Promo-video airs as PlasteredPanda.com presents "WCW Spring Stampede" exclusively on PPV, coming live from Panama City, FL on Sunday, May 7, 2006.
We see Ivory and Missy Hyatt in the trainers room receiving medical attention. Cyrus is walking by and Ivory asks what's the situation with Sable? Will she be able to make the PPV? Cyrus mentions that it looks as if Sable's ankle might be broken and she's out of the ladder match at Spring Stampede for the Women's Championship. So Ivory asks if it's just her and Luna? Cyrus says no. He's already been on the phone with Eric Bischoff and Eric told him that it's taken care of. Ivory wants to know who the 3rd woman will be? Is it Missy? A doctor interjects and says that "Miss Hyatt has a concussion and will not be able to wrestle for several days at least!" So Missy asks Cyrus again who it will be. His cell phone rings and he excuses himself, saying that it's Eric and he'll talk to Ivory later. Cyrus walks off to talk to Bischoff on his phone while Ivory is left still wondering who will be the third lady in the ladder match at Spring Stampede.
We go to David Penzer for the next match...
ARN ANDERSON, CHARLIE HAAS & C.W. ANDERSON (with Woman & Miss Jackie) - THE HORSEMEN versus KEVIN NASH, SCOTT HALL & MARTY JANNETTY
Forget about rules - it's just a total brawl here as the Horsemen and the Nash/Hall/Jannetty trio just all seem intent to beat the hell out of each other. The Andersons (Arn & C.W.) show great teamwork as they use all the classic Anderson tactics to work over Jannetty in the corner and keep him confined to their side of the ring. Nash finally gets the tag in and stomps a mudhole in Arn's butt before he low-blows Kevin and tags in Haas. Hall comes in as well and we see some great back and forth between the two men. Then tempers flare and we see everyone brawling again. Nash manages to powerbomb Haas, but before the ref can make the count, we see Miss Jackie and Woman grab the referee and pull him out of the ring. The ref has has enough and calls for the bell, calling for the DQ.
Winners by DQ: MARTY JANNETTY, KEVIN NASH & SCOTT HALL
Nash goes outside the ring and after Woman and Miss Jackie. Here comes Buff Bagwell with a cheap shot from behind and he nails Kevin on the floor, sending him into the guardrail. As the Horsemen take over the attack on Nash & Hall, we see Buff go after Jannetty and deliver a picture-perfect "Buff-Buster" from the top rope. Arn and C.W. deliver a double-DDT to Hall in the ring while Haas puts Nash into the steel post on the outside. Satisfied with the carnage they've left, the Horsemen roll to the floor and walk off while they leave Buff standing in the ring over a fallen Marty Jannetty and talking trash. Here comes Krazy - K and Jeff hardy from the back to the ring. Buff sees them coming and finally leaves the ring as Jeff and Kirby check on the fallen Outsiders and Marty Jannetty.
(commercial)
Luna Vachon is backstage with Terri Runnels. She's cackling and laughing at her actions earlier tonight and we see a video replay of her attack on Sable. Luna is so proud as she says one down and one to go and the Women's Championship will be mine. Here comes Cyrus to interupt the interview. He has a two big announcements to make in regards to Spring Stampede. First of all, he just signed the Anderson's versus The Outsiders for the PPV. That's big. Luna is persistant and wants to know about her match. Cyrus continues, "And as for the Ladder Match at Spring Stampede for the Women's Championship. Since Sable will obviously unable to compete. there is a spot to be filled." Cyrus has been on the phone with Eric Bischoff who made a few quick phone calls. So, at Spring Stampede, for the first time ever, there will be a Three Ladies Ladder Match for the WCW Women's Championship as it will be the WCW Womens Champion Ivory versus Luna Vachon versus April Hunter. Luna kind of recoils at the announcement of April Hunter's name. "No!" she hisses at Cyrus before storming off. Cryus repeats the announcement he just made. Taking Sable's spot at the PPV will be Aprill Hunter.
As he finishes this statement, here comes Soce. He needs to talk to Cyrus about the tag match. Soce is not a referee. He's a highly successful musical entertainer with three CD's out. He makes music videos and has several popular websites like http://www.greathiphop.com/ and www.myspace.com/soce. Please don't make him referee this match. He's begging and we see Soce get down on his knees. Cyrus tells Soce that he needs to get up and be a man. He's the manager of the WCW World Tag Team Champions and needs to act like it. Soce pulls himself up and straightens his jacket as Cyrus continues. Soce is still the referee for the tag team match between the Triad and Kronik. But he'll do Soce a favor. If Soce shows favortism, he's still suspended for sixty days. But if anyone tries to attack or hurt Soce during the match, they'll be suspended for sixty days. Cyrus tells Soce to just call it down the middle and he'll be OK. Now he needs to get ready because the match with Kronik and The Triad is next. Cyrus walks off and we get a good close-up of Soce's sexy face, definitely dreading this situation. We see Rico walk up and puts his arm around Soce, telling him not to worry. The team has his back and they've got a plan. Rico and Soce walk off as we go to commercial.
(commercial)
We come back and it's time for ring announcer David Penzer. First he introduces the special guest referee for the next match, the manager of the WCW World Tag Team Champions and man behind the best selling CD "The Lemonade Incident" available at http://www.cdbaby.com/, the one and only Soce the Elemental Wizard. Soce comes out in a striped referees shirt and matching striped felt wizards cap. He gets in the ring as Penzer introduces the combatants for the next match.
WINNERS GET WCW TAG TITLE SHOT AT SPRING STAMPEDE
BRIAN ADAMS & BRYAN CLARK - KRONIK versus KANYON & BAM BAM BIGELOW (with Diamond Dallas Page) - THE TRIAD.
It's rough and it's brutal, but suprisingly, Soce calls it pretty fairly and straight down the middle as both teams go all out in the effort to secure that PPV shot at the Tag Team titles. DDP tries to get some shots in from the outside, but Soce is there to catch him, and in a suprise move, we see Soce eject DDP from the arena. DDP is pissed off and stalks to the back as Kanyon & Bigelow argue with Soce. Kronik sees the opening and takes advantage with a series of power-moves that sees Kronik in full control. Clark and Adams signal for "high times", but here comes Rico from the back and he's up on the apron. Soce is there to prevent Rico from getting into the ring and the announcers speculate on what is going on. Bigelow and Abbott are in the ring from the other side and nail Kronik from behind. Soce, of course, sees none of this as he's arguing with Rico. Abbott plants Clark with a powerbomb while Morrus holds Adams long enough for Bigelow to give him "Greetings From Ashbury Park". Soce finally turns around and sees Kanyon covering Clark. He drops and counts the pin.
Winners: THE TRIAD
DDP comes back out and he raises the arms of Kanyon and Bigelow as we see Rico, Tank Abbott & Morrus climb backl into the ring. Soce is all smiles as he raises the arms of The Triad. And then we see Morrus, Rico and Abbott attack and nail the unsuspecting Triad from behind. Soce directs traffic as The Elementals make quick work of the Triad and left them beaten and battered in the ring. It was all a set-up by Soce and friends. They stand over the Triad and hold their belts high, smiling, as we go to commercial.
(commercial)
We come back and Rich Landrum attempts to get a word in with Brock Lesnar who is pacing impatiently backstage and on the cell phone trying to get in touch with Sable, who has been transported to the local medical facilities. Brock's match is coming up next against The Rock and the winner goes to Spring Stampede to face Bill Goldberg.
Brock is upset and angry. He doesn't give a damn about Spring Stampede or Bill Goldberg or even the Rock. His lady is at the hospital with a broken ankle and he's stuck here having to wrestle a hollywood actor and movie star. Brock says that he hopes that Mr. Movie Star has his insurance paid up because Brock isn't playing games tonight. He's mad as hell and is going to take it out on someone. And Rock just got elected. Brock then tells Landrum to get the hell out of his dressing room because he has things to do!
We cut now to Terri Runnels who is standing by with Jeff Jarrett and "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner. Jarrett is pissed off. He wants to know what the deal is with the main event at Spring Stampede. Is he getting his title shot or not? He doesn't give a damn about Hogan or Race wrestling tonight. "Those two dinosaurs can kill each other for all I care!" Jarrett just wants answers. Steiner agrees, but thinks that it should be him in the main event at Spring Stampede against Race. Jarrett doesn't care who it is. He just wants answers. And since Bischoff isn't here to give answers, they're going to the ring to get them.
(commercial)
Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner come to the ring to a thunderous roar of boos from the sold-out crowd. Jarrett gets the mic. He wants Cyrus to get his ass out there now and tell the world who will be wrestling Race at Spring Stampede and why it will be him. Here comes Cyrus. Jarrett and Steiner need to calm down. Cyrus has been on the phone all night with Eric Bischoff and they've decided on a main event for Spring Stampede.
Here comes Sean O'Haire out. As the former champion, he has a rematch clause and he's demanding that he gets his rematch at the PPV. He wants his title back. Cyrus tells Sean that they've already considered that as well. So at the Spring Stampede, in the main event, it will be a "Six Pack Challenge" for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. It's the WCW Champion Harley Race versus Jeff Jarrett versus Scott Steiner versus Sean O'Haire versus Hulk Hogan versus former NWA Champion Barry Windham who will be making his return to WCW at the PPV... No one seems too happy with this, but they all seem satisfied as we go to commercial.
(commercial)
We come back and Hulk Hogan is with Rich Landrum. He just got the word that it's a "Six Pack Challenge" at the PPV. Well, that's OK with the Hulkster because after tonight, when he gets done beating Harley Race within an inch of his life, Hulkamania will be running wild and none of those other jabronis will stand a chance as Hulk takes back his WCW World title. Harley Race steps into the picture. That's the problem with punks like Hogan. They're always running off at the mouth when they need to shut the hell up. At the PPV, it doesn't matter if it's six men or six hundred. They'll have to kill Race to take his title from him. As for tonight, Race tells Hogan that he'd better be ready because Harley plans on using him as an example and he (Hogan) will probably not even make it to the PPV on Sunday. Hogan asks if that's a threat? "No, that's a promise!" says Race before walking off.
We go back to the ring. "Can you smellalallala.. what the Rock... is cooking!" Here comes the Rock the ring. It's been a crazy night at Nitro. Tensions and tempers are running wild. People are getting hurt. And poor Brock Lesnar is backstage crying like a little bitch because his little bitch got hurt. Well, boo-hoo! The Rock is going to do Brock a favor. He'll make this match short and sweet and beat Brock's candy-ass so bad, he and Sable can share a room at the hospital. It's nothing personal. He's seen Sable's magazine layouts and she's a mighty fine Skank! But Brock, he's just a grinning buffoon. And Rock vows to take that grin and shove it straight up his candy ass! Here comes Brock from the back and charging the ring. The referee calls for the bell and it's on.
THE ROCK versus BROCK LESNAR
Fists are flying and so are bodies as Brock starts off strong with a series of suplexes and slams on the Rock. Rock fights back and nails a spinebuster, followed by a Samoan Drop for two. Brock fights back and stomps away at Rock before sending him to the floor. Brock tries a suicide dive, but crashes and burns as Rock moves and Brock flies into the guard railing. More fists and punches on the floor. And the referee is counting. Suddenly, here comes Luna Vachon. She comes down and shoves Brock in the back before taking off through the crowd. Brock loses control and takes off after Luna while Rock smartly rolls back into the ring. The ref's count reaches ten and he calls for the bell.
Winner by Count Out - THE ROCK
In the crowd, we see Brock stop and realize that he was suckered as he watches the referee raise Rock's hand in victory. Brock gets a fierce look on his face and heads back towards the ring, but Rock sees him coming and rolls to the floor. Brock argues with the ref, but to no avail. Rock is the winner and is going to Spring Stampede.
(commercial)
Tony Schiavone & Mark Madden & Dutch Mantell run down the line-up for the Spring Stampede PPV coming up on Sunday, May 7th. And then we go to David Penzer as it's time for the main event.
NON TITLE MATCH
WCW WORLD CHAMPION HARLEY RACE versus HULK HOGAN
More brawling as that seems to be the theme of the night. Hogan uses the lefts to get the early advantage, but ends up being suplexed every way but Tuesday as Race comes back with a series of slams and suplexes that leaves Hogan laid out on the mat. As Hogan is down, Race climbs to the top rope and it's time for the diving headbutt. No one is home as Hogan rolls out of the way. Hogan uses the lefts again and sends Race into the ropes. Big Boot! Legdrop by Hogan and then he plays to the crowd before going for the cover. Race kicks out at two. As Hogan argues with the referee, we see Race grab him from behind for another suplex. Hogan reverses and moves behind Race, but Harley uses a veteran "trick knee" and gives Hulk a low kick with the back of his leg as the referee is out of position. Hogan goes down and we see a sadistic smile on the face of Race as he covers Hogan for the pin.
Winner: HARLEY RACE
As Harley raises his arms in victory, here comes Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner to the ring. They attack both Race and the fallen Hogan. The crowd erupts as Sean O'Haire comes out from the back and joins in the melee, attacking Scott Steiner. Here comes Barry Windham from the back as well and we quickly have all six men brawling in the center of the ring. Officials and referees fill the ring to seperate the six WCW superstars as we fade to black with Schiavone screaming one last plug for Spring Stampede on Sunday night.
The end..
